A booking is confirmed only after you accept our written quotation and pay the booking advance mentioned in it. The balance is payable as per the quotation, usually before boarding. Rates quoted are valid only for the dates, boat category and guest count stated in the quotation. Whether taxes (GST) are included is stated in the quotation.

Refunds depend on how close to the check-in date you cancel and on the boat owner's policy. The exact cancellation slabs are shared in writing along with your quotation, before you pay. Cancellations must be sent in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail). No-shows and early check-outs are not refundable.

Requests to change dates are subject to the availability of the same boat or an equivalent boat. Any difference in rate is payable by the guest. Dates cannot be changed once the cruise has started.

Houseboats are allotted by category and bedroom count. In rare cases of breakdown, damage or government order, we may substitute an equivalent boat of the same or higher category. Photographs on this page are for illustration and may not show the exact boat allotted.

Overnight cruises typically start around 12 noon and finish by about 9 AM the next day. Day cruises run from about 11 AM to 5 PM. Late arrival does not extend the check-out time. The boarding point (jetty) is confirmed before your trip.

The number of guests must not exceed the boat's capacity. Extra mattresses for children or extra adults are available only on some boats and may be chargeable; this must be requested and confirmed in advance. The crew may refuse boarding if the capacity is exceeded.

Meals as per the quotation are cooked on board. Special-diet and special-occasion menus must be requested in advance. Seafood and special orders, if any, may be charged separately as stated in the quotation.

On air-conditioned boats, AC typically operates during the night hours because it depends on the boat's power supply. Exact hours depend on the boat and are confirmed in writing. Power availability may vary while cruising.

A valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID) is mandatory for every guest, as required by the authorities. Foreign nationals must carry their passport and valid visa. Boarding may be refused without valid ID.

Life jackets are provided and must be worn when asked by the crew. Swimming from the boat is not permitted. Children must be supervised at all times. Guests must follow the crew's instructions. Smoking is permitted only in designated open areas. Any illegal activity leads to immediate termination of the cruise without refund.

Local excise and boat-owner rules apply. Please check with us before bringing alcohol on board; the crew may restrict it. Plastic waste must not be thrown into the water, and the use of single-use plastic is discouraged on the backwaters. Pets are not allowed unless the quotation says otherwise.

Guests are responsible for any damage to the boat, furniture or equipment caused by them or their group. The cost of damage is payable on the spot.

Cruise timings and routes may change due to weather, water levels, boat races, strikes, government restrictions or other events beyond our control. In such cases, the cruise may be shortened, rescheduled or re-routed. Refunds, if any, depend on the boat owner's policy and the extent of the disruption.

Peak periods (including Christmas, New Year, Onam and long weekends) may have different rates, minimum-stay rules and limited availability. These are stated in the quotation.

Personal photography is welcome. Drone use needs prior permission and must follow local regulations.
